Settings Screen
Tapping the [SETTINGS] button will open up the following screens. The first tab is the General Settings
page. This page contains two sections for cycle end adjustments and one section for Visual Preferences.

Loading Position Offset: This section is for very unusual conditions not related to the production
of spherical precision optics. OptiPro recommends leaving both Z-Axis and C-Axis fields set at
zero.
Lens Blow Off Settings: These settings are used to release the lens from the polisher by pulsing
the center feed slurry at a controlled pressure for a controlled duration. Central feed slurry must
be in use.
POLISHING TOOL MUST HAVE A HOLE IN IT TO AVOID DAMAGING THE EQUIPMENT.
Visual Preferences: Use these settings to adjust the color scheme.
The recirculation tab (Figure 7-7) is used for keeping the slurry agitated when the machine is not
running. This is very useful for weekends or holiday shutdowns. Please consider, the slurry is water
based and the pump generates heat. Make sure there is enough water in the tank to counter
evaporation losses.
