4.8  Video recording, photography and image processing 

Through setting  up a splitter on the  zooming column and connecting  CCD interface, distinct 
images can be seen on screen that means that one can carry out video recording. If connecting 
with a K camera, one can take pictures. The CCD    and camera ports have variable diaphragm 
for light modulation.   
In  combination  of  CCD  system  with  computer  digital  image  processing  system,  one  can 
implement  image  processing  for  the  need  of  diagnosing,  scientific  research,  teaching  and 
long-distance medical treatment as shown in Fig.16. 
The connection of A41.1950 Surgical Microscope with CCD interface and camera and camera 
will result in continuously zooming images:

5  Basic operation   

(Refer to Fig.2) 

5.1  Inspection before Start-up   

 

Power source should be 220V±22V, 50HZ ±1HZ AC single-phase current.   

 

Before turning on the instrument, all electrical switches or knobs should be closed or 
in minimum location.   

 

Check up the plug for magnification. focusing or XY two-dimensional rotation head 
whether they are correctly connected. 

 

Check  up  the  plug  on  the  stand  faceplate  for  Foot  controller  (1)  whether  it  is 
correctly connected.
