Using the numeric keypad, enter the
identifier of the
message
you wish to send. To enter different messages,
separate each message identifier using the enter key
.
If the
message identifier
is unknown
a.
Select the
MSG:
line of the display and press
OK
.
b.
A list of the folders containing the available pre-
recorded messages appears. Use the
/
navigation
keys to select the desired folder and press
OK
.
c.
A list with the name of the messages and their
identifiers is displayed. Use the
/
navigation keys
to select the desired message and press
OK
To delete use the
DEL
key.
4.
If you want to send the message preceded by a GONG
tone, press the navigation key
to select the line of
the display. Press
OK
key to turn the gong ON or gong
OFF.
5.
Then press the
PLAY
key to start the message.
Next to the icon, there is a digit showing the number of the
activated and playing messages. To view the detailed
information, select this line of the display and press
OK
. A list
will appear showing the message identifiers (MSG :), zones
identifiers (Z :) and groups identifiers (G :) of the messages
being activated and being played. To stop a message in
progress, select it using the navigation keys
/
and press
the
DEL
key.

Volume zones adjustment

To modify the volumes of music program or priority is required user level
Operator or Administrator. To modify the emergency volume requires
administrator user level

Using the

navigation keys, select the settings
menu (
).

Using the

keys select
VOLUMES
and press
OK
.

Using the
/
keys select one zone and press
OK
.
4.
Depending on the type of zone (UMX-2SA card zones,
UMX-2SB sub-zone or UMX-MC6 sub-zone), slightly
different menus appear:
a.
UMX-2SA
1. Select
MUS
if you want to change the volume of
the music program for that zone.
Select
PRI
if you want to change the volume of
the the paging for that zone.
Select
EMG
if you want to change the volume of
the emergency paging for that zone.
2. Press
OK
.

b.UMX-MC6 (
Attention
: The audio received by the
UMX-MC6 card comes from a UMX-2SA card.
Changing the volume of a UMX-MC6 sub-zone is
modifying the output volume of the UMX-2SA card, so
it will affect all sub-zones of the UMX-MC6 that
depend on that audio output)
1. Select
MUS
if you want to change the volume of
the music program
Select
PRI
if you want to change the volume
of the paging.
Select
EMG
if you want to change the volume of
the emergency emergency announcements.
2. Press
OK
.
3. The display shows the list of zones whose
volume is affected by the change. You can check
the list by using

keys. Press
OK
to
continue.

UMX-S2B (
Attention
: Each sub-zone of a UMX-2SB
card has its own internal volume control for the music
program, allowing to set different musical program
volumes for each sub-zone. The other volumes affect
all sub-zones of the UMX-2SB.)

if you want to
change the volume of a sub-zone’s music
program.

between 0 (mute) and 5.

if you want to change the volume of

will affect all sub-zones of the UMX-2SB card.
