Impedance
The 6 steps indicate terminating (loading) the cartridge. MM input is terminating
with 47 K Ohms fixed. This selection rotary switch doesn’t affect MM input. Only
for MC1 and MC 2 inputs:

4: 200
5: 330
6: 470 Ohms
