Servicing CPUs
The Netra Server X5-2 is available in either a single-processor configuration or a dual-
processor configuration. The single-processor configuration cannot be upgraded to a
dual-processor configuration. The procedures in this chapter focus on the dual-processor
configuration. Replacing a single processor is the same in both configurations.
Use these procedures to service the CPUs.

CPU Configuration
This illustration shows the locations of Processor 0 and 1 in the dual-processor configuration.
In the single-processor configuration, P1 is not present, and its DIMM slots are filled with filler
panels.
