Attach Devices to the Server
This section provides information about connecting devices to server (remotely and locally), so
you can interact with the service processor (SP) and the server console.
1.
Connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet (NET) connectors. See
Panel Connector Locations” on page 58
2.
To connect to the service processor's Oracle ILOM over the network, connect
an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port labeled NET MGT. See
Connector Locations” on page 58
3.
To access the Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI) locally using the
management port, connect a serial null modem cable to the RJ-45 serial port
labeled SER MGT. See

4.
To interact with the system console locally, connect a mouse and keyboard to
the server front panel USB connectors and a monitor to the server front panel
DB-15 video connector (as shown in the illustration below).
