Steaming (steam ironing)

Connect the power cord to the mains and switch on the appliance. The
indicator light will flash and will illuminate permanently when the operating
temperature is reached (in approx. 10 seconds).
All fabrics marked on the ironing symbol with dots • to • • • can be ironed and
brushed with steam:
The dots in the device emblem on the garments correspond to the following
material:

Steam pressure allows you to iron inflexible folds. The steam pressure can
be used by pressing the button for short-term steam use or by switching the
switch to continuous steam ironing. So when ironing, either press the button or
turn the switch to the lower position.
There must be a sufficient amount of water in the tank.
Vertical steam ironing
Vertical steam ironing is advantageous in that you can iron clothes on a hanger.
There must be a sufficient amount of water in the tank.
Warning!
Never perform this ironing directly on the person!
• The best results can be achieved when you hang clothes after washing, e.g. on
a clothes hanger. The garment dries with a smaller number of folds.
• During ironing, you can pull the garment gently and smoothly with your other
hand. However, be careful not to scald your hand.
