OPERATION
§
Place the lid on the cool-box, ensuring that the hinges on the lid connect properly with the
receptacles on the coolbox itself.
§
Use the voltage selector switch to set the required voltage.
§
Insert either the 12V connector plug or the mains power plug into the appropriate socket on
the cool-box.
§
Connect the 12V cigarette-lighter plug into a suitable 12V socket, or insert the mains plug
into a suitable mains outlet.
§
Set the selector switch to either the cooling or the warming function. The appropriate
indicator light will come on.
§
To compartmentalise the cool-box, the partition may be inserted from above into the 2
grooves on the inside.
§
During periods of non-use, always switch off the cool-box and disconnect the cable last used
from the power source.
REMARKS
Cooling
To achieve optimum cooling, the cool-box should be filled with pre-chilled food and/or beverages.
The food and beverages will then be kept cool or be cooled down even further.
With warm or non-chilled food and beverages, the cooling process will take considerably longer.
Keeping warm
Using the keep-warm function, food and beverages may be kept warm. Again, warming up cold
food and beverages will take some considerable time.
12V connection:
When the 12V cigarette lighter socket is used to power the cool-box, it should not be left connected
for more than 1 hour with the vehicle engine switched off. This is to prevent the vehicle battery from
over- discharging. With the engine running, the cool-box may be left connected for an unlimited
time.
