TOASTING NOTES
Toasting is a combination of cooking and drying the bread; moisture levels differ from one bread to
another, which can result in varying toasting times.
Preheating is not necessary before using toaster .while when put this unit in operation for the first time, do
not place any bread into toaster, slight smoke or gas will come out of the unit ,which is normal situation
DEFROST BUTTON
The defrost button is designed to firstly defrost and then toast the bread, which extends the toasting cycle
slightly.
1.
Insert slices of bread into the bread slots.
2.
Press the bread carriage lever down until it locks into position.
3.
Press the defrost button.
4.
When the cycle is completed the bread carriage will raise the toast up. To terminate the cycle before
it is completed, simply press the cancel button.
REHEAT BUTTON

Insert slices of bread into the bread slots.
2.
Press the bread carriage lever down until it locks into position.
3.
Press the reheat button.
4.
When the cycle is completed the bread carriage will raise the toast up. To terminate the cycle before
it is completed, simply press the cancel button.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
•
Before attempting any cleaning operation make sure the toaster is unplugged from the supply socket
and fully cooled down.

To remove bread crumbs open the crumb tray situated on the side of the appliance/
•
Never use sharp objects to clean. Doing so could damage the appliance.
•
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth.
•
All other maintenance and repair should be performed by a qualified technician.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product
reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of
their old appliance.
