Thermostat and Controls:
Always install the thermostat for
your floor warming system per local code and per manufacturers
instructions. When using a thermostat with a floor sensor, it is important
to make sure that the floor sensor is placed 1-3’ out into the heated floor
and centered between two cable runs (See Electrical Installation Diagram
below). The floor sensor must be embedded in the pour. Where cable
system total amp load is greater than 15, an RFWCK Series Control Box
is available. When using an RFWCK Series Control Box, GFCI
Protection is required at the breaker.
