Environmental protection made easy
Tips for packaging
Our packaging is manufactured from environmentally friendly, recyclable
materials:
– External packaging from carton
– Moulded parts from foamed, CFC-free polystyrene (PS)
– Film and bags from polythene (PE)
– Fixing straps from polypropylen (PP).
If the available space permits, we recommend that you retain the packaging at
least until the end of the warranty period. If the appliance must be sent for repair
or taken to one of the repair facilities, the appliance is sufficiently protected in the
original packaging. If the packaging must be disposed of, please dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Disposal of the appliance
Old appliances must not be disposed of as domestic waste!
Should the appliance no longer be serviceable, every consumer has a statutory
obligation to dispose of old appliances separately from domestic waste and
to dispose of it, e.g. at a local authority / district collection point. Old electrical
appliances will be accepted there at no cost. Thus, it is ensured that the old
appliances are correctly recycled and negative effects on the environment are
prevented.
Thus, electrical appliances are identified with the symbol as shown adjacent. For
further information about this topic, please also refer to the service pages of our
main current catalogue or on our Internet site, under the rubric Service.
Disposal of the grease filter
The used metallic grease filters can be disposed of as domestic waste. The fleece
grease filters, saturated with grease, can be disposed of as domestic waste. Also
observe the manufacturer's data on the packaging.
Disposal of the carbon filter for circulating air mode
The used carbon filters can be disposed of as domestic waste.
