BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY
PREPARING THE CAMERA
1. Slide the Mode Switch to Camera Mode.
2. Press and hold the Power button to turn the camera on.
3. Slide the Focus Switch to the desired setting.
4. Check the battery indicator to make sure there is enough power.

TAKING BASIC PICTURES
1. Frame your subject in the viewfinder. You can also view the subject
on the OSD.
2. Press the Shutter Release button.
3. The image taken is displayed on the OSD for approximately a second
(Auto Review).
4. Once the Auto Review has finished, you may proceed to take the
next picture.
NOTE:
When memory is full, no more images can be stored. The
camera will beep and the words "Internal Memory Full" or "Memory
Card Full" will appear on the LCD.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND SETTINGS
TOGGLING BETWEEN ON-SCREEN DISPLAY SETTINGS
When you slide the Mode Switch to any mode, the OSD is automatically
switched on.
Use
to toggle between 3 levels of display settings:
A. OSD with all shooting information displayed.
B. OSD with only key information displayed.
C. OSD is turned off.
SELECTING A FOCUS MODE
Your digital camera has three different Focus Modes. You can select
between the three options by using the Focus Switch.

Landscape
Used when the subject is far away. The
focus range is 2.8 meters to

Group
Used when taking pictures of a group of
subjects. The focus range is 1.2-3 meters.
Portrait
Used when taking portraits. The focus range
is 1 - 1.3 meters.
