5.5.1 Basic Settings
This page allows you to set up DHCP settings for the switch. You can check the
Enabled
checkbox to activate the function. Once the box is checked, you will be able to input
information in each column.
Label
Description
DHCP Server
Enables or disables DHCP server function. When enabled, the
switch will become the DHCP server on your local network.
Low IP Address
The beginning of the dynamic IP address range. The lowest IP
address in the range is considered the start IP address. For
example, if the range is from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200,
192.168.1.100 will be the start IP address.
High IP Address
The end of the dynamic IP address range. The highest IP address
in the range is considered the end IP address. For example, if the
range is from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200, 192.168.1.200 will
be the end IP address
Subnet Mask
The subnet mask for the dynamic IP assign range
Gateway
The gateway of your network
DNS
The DNS IP of your network
Lease Time (sec)
The length of time that the client may use the IP address it has
been assigned. The time is measured in seconds.
