Bass Boost -
1 .
continuously adjusts from 0 to 18dB of boost cen-
tered at 45Hz
Gain -
2 .
continuous adjustment for full power output
RCA Input -
3 .
accepts low level RCA inputs (400mV-8V) from a head
unit, preamplifier, or equalizer . XtR amplifiers can also accept
high level speaker inputs (200mV-4V) for an oeM stereo
RCA Line Output -
4 .
provides easy connection to additional ampli-
fiers
Remote Gain Input -
5 .
connects RGC2 remote gain control to con-
trol the bass level from the driver’s seat .
Phase Control Switch -
6 .
provides either 0 or 180 degree phase shift
of the amplified output (speaker) with respect to the input signal
to facilitate bridging of amplifiers
Speakers -
7 .
connect the speakers to these terminals . (refer to the
Speaker Connection
section of this manual)
Master/Copy Switch -
8 .
controls whether the amplifier is a slave
or master when connected in combined amplifier configurations .
(Refer to the
Amplifier Wiring
section of this manual)
Low-Pass Frequency (LPF) Control -
9 .
adjusts the frequency
(30Hz–250Hz) of the crossover frequency for the LPF (Low-Pass
Frequency Control)
Crossover Slope -
10 .
this switch is for the crossover slope (see the
Amplifier settings section of the manual)
Infrasonic (Subsonic) Switch -
11 .
when on cuts off extremely low
bass frequencies (below the range of human hearing, that speak-
ers cannot effectively reproduce) . the high pass filter is engaged
when the subsonic switch is on . this improves efficiency of the
amplifier’s power supply, improves sound reproductive perfor-
mance, and reduces chances of damaging the subwoofers .
