8.5. Assembly process for enclosures with separate body and tank.
The enclosures with separate body and tank have a tank, a
body and a cover. The tank and body are handled separately,
as set out in section “6.1.
Handling of enclosures with
separate body and tank
”.
The following additional tools and equipment are required
to assemble enclosures with separate body and tank:

Spirit level.

EPDM adhesive strip (20 mm wide and 25 mm thick)
3
Elastic adhesive sealant (such as Quiadsa BRIK-CEN MS-12 or
similar)

Proceed as follows to assemble:
1.
Once the ground has been prepared in accordance with
the instructions in section “8.4.
Preparing the ground
”,
locate the tank using the instructions in section “6.1.1.
Handling the tank”.
2.
Check the tank level with the spirit level.
3.
Position the EPDM adhesive band on the top face of
the tank, covering the whole perimeter. Remove the
protection from the free adhesive side.

4.
Position the enclosure's body separated on the tank,
following the instructions in sections 6.1.2 and 6.1.3, for
bodies with four and eight DEHA anchors, respectively.
5.
In order to avoid humidity problems inside the tank,
seal the perimeter by immediately applying elastic
adhesive sealant.

8.6. Earth connection
The
pfu
is fitted with a protective earthing circuit. An
operational earthing circuit can be optionally installed.
These earthing circuits connect to the exterior earthing
networks.
The installer or final user must provide suitable safety
measures in order to avoid dangerous touch and step
voltage.
The installation project must include the section for
implementation of the earthing installation, along
with justification of sizing in accordance with local
legislation.
