5.7. Replacing and introducing the medium voltage switchgear
Follow the General Instructions supplied with the
cms
.21 in
the document holder for correct handling of the medium
voltage switchgear during the following sequences of
operations (see Figure 1.5).
5.7.1. Tools required
In order to correctly follow the instructions described
below, it is necessary to ensure beforehand that the tools
shown in Figure 5.13 are available.

5.7.2. Replacement process
Proceed as follows to replace the switchgear installed inside
the
cms
.21:
1.
Remove the power from the medium-voltage lines
connected to the
cms
.21. Follow the electricity
company's procedure, local rules and electrical safety
regulations.
2.
Open the
cms
.21, right hand door by operating the
opening handle.
