General application
General instructions
ekor.ccp
Integrated control allows for a drastic reduction in wiring
inside transformer substations.
The ekor.rci and ekor.rp.ci units receive input signals from
the cubicles (statuses of switches and disconnectors, tripping
of fuses) and execute the output signals (open, close). All of
these signals, together with those of the units themselves
(tripping of protection functions, fault detection, presence
or absence of voltage, current measurements, etc.), are sent
via a communications port to the ekor.ccp unit.

2.3. Automation distributed among several substations
The speed of the microprocessor allows for high data
transfer speeds, which allows the interaction of several
controllers performing automation distributed among
several substations.

Each controller sends the data that the other installations
need to perform the automations, and at the same time
receives data from the others: transfer automations,
disconnection of faulty lines, etc.
Furthermore, the physical means of communication can
be Ethernet, GPRS, optical fibre, digital radio, PLC-medium
voltage telephone modem, etc. There can be up to 128
controllers in the system.
