2.5.1. Sending text messages
There are two strategies for the way in which text messages
are sent:
1. Different text messages for different telephone numbers.
It is possible to send different text messages to different
telephone numbers using this transmission mode. The
100 different text messages that can be defined must be
distributed among the telephone numbers to which the
messages are to be sent.
The telephone number to receive each message can be
selected using this transmission mode.
2. Sending the same text message to all telephone numbers
defined.
It is possible to define a maximum of 100 text messages
using this transmission mode. Every time a text message is
sent, it will be sent to all of the telephone numbers defined.
A maximum of 100 different telephone numbers can be
defined.

2.5.2. Telephone calls
Telephone calls are normally faster than text messages
and, therefore, it may be convenient for the receiver to
receive a telephone call from the substation, indicating that
an incident has occurred and that a text message will be
received shortly informing of the type of incident.
It is possible to make calls to 10 different numbers.
