ekor.ccp
1. Description and main characteristics
The ekor.ccp programmable cubicle controller unit has
been designed to resolve applications such as automation,
remote control, line transfer, electrical interlocks between
cubicles, alarm centralisation, etc. in medium voltage
installations.
It is a flexible and programmable microprocessor system
with PC structure and Linux operating system. This
powerful microprocessor enables use in remote controlled
installations, supporting a large number of communication
protocols, from both the Utility and the industry.
The ekor.ccp unit has been designed to meet the
requirements of national and international standards
and guidelines: IEC 60255-5, IEC 60255-25, IEC 61000-4,
IEC 61000-22, EN 60255-21, IEC 60068-2.

1.1. General operating features
The ekor.ccp unit can be fitted with up to 4 digital input
and output modules, each with 12 inputs and 6 outputs,
making it possible to configure 48 digital inputs and
24 digital outputs in each unit. For applications with a larger
number of digital signals, up to 32 ekor.ccp units can be
configured in a local network.
It has 7 communication channels: a front RS232 port
and an Ethernet port for configuration, two RS232 ports
and two Ethernet ports for communication with external
devices and one RS485 port for use as a local network with
other devices.
The ekor.ccp unit supports the most common
communication protocols for the remote control of Utility
installations and other industrial installations for network
connection with peripheral equipment.
Its graphic display and Web server allow for the single-wire
diagram of the installation to be displayed, along with log
data, measurements, alarms, etc. of the medium voltage
installation. This data is accessed and displayed in a very
intuitive manner.
Its programmable automaton structure makes it possible
to program specific automations, as well as the remote
terminal unit function (RTU).
