MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
REGULAR (OR PREVENTIVE) MAINTENANCE )
MONTHLY PERFORM ORDINARY MAINTENANCE OF THE AID AND OF ITS ACCESSORIES.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED TO KEEP THE PRODUCT WORKING PROPERLY
AND SAFELY AND IS ESSENTIAL FOR KEEPING THE MARK.
THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT
UNLESS REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS PERFORMED (ATTACHMENT I, DIRECTIVE
2007/47/CE). THE MANUFACTURER ALSO RECOMMENDS THAT THE SUPPLIER OR THE
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PERFORMS A COMPLETE REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT'S
OPERATION AND SAFETY EVERY 3 MONTHS, OR AT DIFFERENT FREQUENCIES
ACCORDING TO THE USE (i.e. regular, persistent, or heavy ) OF THE AID BY ITS USER
1) at three months from purchase;
2) at six months from purchase;
3) once a year for subsequent years after that of purchase.
Clean and disinfect the device and its accessories regularly, following the
instructions provided below.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING THE FRAME
Clean and disinfect the painted and chromed parts of the seat and base with a soft cloth dipped in
a household detergent and disinfectant, such as alcohol diluted in water.
WASHING AND DISINFECTING THE UPHOLSTERY
Wash the upholsteries of the accessories 834-ABDUCTION BLOCK, 892- REMOVABLE
FOOTPLATE COVERING, 896-REMOVABLE TRAY COVERING, 916- PADDED LEG PANEL
with neutral household soap. After rinsing, dry well with a soft cloth.
The upholstery of the headrest, backrest, seat bottom, side bolsters with neutral household
soap, respecting the following symbols:
machine-wash with neutral soap
max. 30 °C
do not spin-dry
do not bleach
iron at low temperature
do not tumble dry
CLEANING AND DRYING THE CORD COVERING
Clean the cord with a sponge wet with water and detergent or household disinfectant. Dry with a
soft cloth or, if available, such as in a hospital, blow-dry with compressed air.
CLEANING THE TRAY
Clean
Tray 824 with a sponge wet with detergent or household disinfectant. After rinsing, dry well
with a soft cloth.
CLEANING THE WHEELS
At least once a month, clean the wheels of residues (threads, hair, etc.) that can build up on
rotating parts.
