6.4.4 User information applica-
ble after the lifting move-
ment
▲
Special care is necessary when driv-
ing the wheelchair because of the
restricted view (Fig. 68)!
▲
Pay attention to overhead objects (Fig.
69)!
▲
Do not lean the upper body beyond
the seat contour! – Danger of over-
turning!
▲
For safety reasons, the driving speed
is automatically reduced when the
seat lifter is fully or partially extend-
ed or when the seat has been tilted.
▲
The turning circle of the wheelchair
is larger when the seat has been
raised with the seat lifter, the seat has
been tilted or the legrests have been
swivelled up.
▲
Do not reach under the seat during
lowering and make sure that there
are no objects or other persons in the
area between the wheelchair frame
and the seat (Fig. 70)!

6.4.3 User information applica-
ble before the lifting
movement
▲
The seat lifter may only be used when
the user is wearing the seat belt!
▲
Sufficient free space must be availa-
ble above the wheelchair for a lift-
ing movement. – Danger of acci-
dent, e.g. from door frames, lamps
(Fig. 65)!
▲
The feet must not be under an ob-
stacle, e.g. a desk (Fig. 66).
▲
Maintain sufficient clearance to ob-
stacles. The seat swivels forwards
slightly during the upward move-
ment (Fig. 67).
