Keep the lighting components clean
at all times and check for correct
functioning before each journey.
▲
Always switch off the control unit,
then pull out the security plug and
ensure that the drive motors are
switched to the drive mode before
carrying out maintenance work,
modifications or adjustments on the
wheelchair! – Danger of accident due
to unwanted wheelchair movement.
Tyres:
A difference in tyre pressure between
the wheels on one axle causes the vehi-
cle to pull to one side and makes straight-
on driving difficult. A too low tyre pres-
sure increases the rolling resistance and
more energy is drawn from the batter-
ies for the propulsion of the electric
wheelchair. Always inflate the tyres to
the max. permitted tyre pressure but
never exceed the max. permitted tyre
pressure. but never exceed the max.
permitted tyre pressure.
▲
Check the tyre pressure regularly:
– see the technical data for the tyre
pressure.
– Always protect the tyre valves against
dust with the valve caps.
– Tread/condition: worn tread impairs
the driving behaviour.
– Tyre change: always change the tyres
of an axle in pairs.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning

with a high-pressure cleaner!
▲
Keep water and moisture away from
electrical components and cables!

Clean painted and chromed parts
with commercially available paint-
work and chrome cleaners.
Plastic parts:
