INSTALLATION ON POOLS W/OUT REINFORCED HOLE
(Drain water 6” below return before proceeding)
1. On the end of the pool, near the pump/filter, locate the approx. center of the pool.
Use a tape measure, and measure down from the white membrane 3” and place a
small pen mark at that point. Center one of the clear peel and stick reinforcements
over the mark and carefully cut out the center. Make sure to use a sharp blade and
take your time. Next make sure the inside liner of the pool is dry and place the other
clear peel and stick reinforcement over the hole from the inside of the pool. Proceed
to step #2.
2. Take
Large Flange 1000 Series Body
, with gasket (Note: single rib side of gasket
facing body) around it, and insert it into hole from the inside of the pool.
3. Take other gasket (Note: single rib side of gasket facing DNL Cap) and place against
the pool liner, then take
DNL Cap
, flat side facing pool liner, and screw it on to the
backside (outside of pool) of the body. Hand-tighten firmly. Fill pool with water to
check for sufficient seal before proceeding.
The combination you should now have is Body, Gasket, Pool side/Liner, Gasket,
and DNL Cap.
4. The
DNL Can
has a Ceramic Socket with a 12 volt Light Cord and a halogen
reflector already installed. Take the DNL Can and install bulb. The pins, on the bulb,
are universal. There is no right or wrong way of inserting the bulb into the socket.
Push the male-end pins located on the bulb, into the female ports located on the
socket.
5. Take the bulb, socket, and reflector assembly and screw it onto the back of the body
located on the DNL Cap previously installed. Turn clockwise approximately one
revolution.
6. Take the DNL Can and push it onto the DNL Cap. Position the DNL Can so that the
cord hangs down perpendicularly. The 25’ of cord is hardwired to a transformer box
with two mounting tabs. The power supply is to be mounted according to the pool
manufacturer’s instruction.
WARNING – Risk of electric shock. Connect only to a circuit protected by a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
7. The power supply comes equipped with an On/Off switch and a 6’ power cord. The
Placement of the Power Supply should be close enough to utilize the power cord
provided.
An extension cord should not be used
.

Pan-head self-tapping screws provided.
9. Mount Power Supply with Switch and Power Cords facing down.
