STORAGE
Follow these recommendations when storing the
grass trimmer:
• Clean all the grass trimmer, this prevents mould
from forming.
• Store it out of the reach of children, in a stable
and safe position and in dry place where the
temperature is not too hot or too cold.
• Store the trimmer away from direct sunlight,
if possible in a dark or barely illuminated place.
• Do not store the grass trimmer resting on the
floor. Hang it by the upper handgrip instead, so
that the guard does not touch anything. The
resting of the guard on a surface could alter its
shape and therefore its dimensions and safety
characteristics would be modified.

SAFE OPERATION
GTF250
• Always be sure of your footing.
Particularly on slopes.
.
• Exercise extreme caution when changing direction
on slopes.
.
• Do not cut excessively steep slopes and always
wear non-slip footwear.
• Walk, never run.
.
• Ensure the lines have stopped rotating and
take extreme care before lifting your trimmer for
and during transportation.
.
• Never operate your trimmer with defective
guards or shields.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that power supply
corresponds to the voltage rating plate.
DOUBLE INSULATION
Your electric tool is double insulated.
This means that all external metal parts
are electrically isolated from the power
supply. This is achieved by placing an
extra insulation barrier between the
electrical and mechanical parts. Double
insulation means greater electrical safety
and there is no need to have your
electrical tool earthed.
• Your trimmer will continue to run for a
short time after releasing the switch lever. Always
allow your trimmer to stop on its own.
.
• Release the switch to turn your trimmer off
and remove the plug from the mains:
.
- Whenever you leave your trimmer unattended.
.
- Before checking, cleaning, adjusting or
working on your trimmer.
.
- If your trimmer starts to vibrate abnormally
(check immediately).
.
- After striking a foreign object. Inspect your
trimmer for damage and make repairs
as necessary.
.
• Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts.
.
• Do not use your trimmer in the rain and do
not allow it to get wet. Avoid using your grass
trimmer in wet grass, if possible.
.
• Use your grass trimmer only in daylight or
good artificial light.
• Do not walk backwards when operating.
