Electric Brake Release
NOTE:
Electrical release of the brakes requires enough battery power to hold the
brakes in released mode until destination is reached.

Chock wheels or secure machine with tow vehicle.
2.
Position the key-select-switch to
ground control sta
-
tion (1)
.
3.
Depress the
brake release button (2)
for one second
to release the brakes. Once the brakes are released, an
acoustic (discontinuous sound) alarm is triggered.
4.
When finished towing depress and hold the
brake
release button (2)
again or power the machine down
at the ground control station to re-engage the brakes.
NOTE:
Any action to remove electrical power from the brakes such as, depressing the
ground control emergency stop switch, or switching the key switch to OFF or
PLATFORM MODE will re-engage the brakes.
