LED3: 5V0_ATX
When EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure is connected with power source, is connected to the Thunderbolt 3 computer by Thunderbolt 3 cable, and
after
both the Thunderbolt 3 computer and EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure are powered on, the LED3 5V0_ATX will light UP indicating that the 400W PSU
within EB3T-V3-eGPU is powered on.
LED4: 3V3_LC
When EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure is connected with power source, is connected to the Thunderbolt 3 computer by Thunderbolt 3 cable, and
after
both the Thunderbolt 3 computer and EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure are powered on, the LED4 3V3_LC will light UP to indicate that the 3.3 V power
is given to Intel JHL6540 Thunderbolt 3 Alpine Ridge controller on the PCB.
LED5: 0V9_SVR
When EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure is connected with power source, is connected to the Thunderbolt 3 computer by Thunderbolt 3 cable, and
after
both the Thunderbolt 3 computer and EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure are powered on, the LED5 0V9_SVR will light UP to show the 0.9 V power is
given to Intel JHL6540 Thunderbolt 3 Alpine Ridge controller on the PCB.
LED6: OV9_USB
When EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure is connected with power source, is connected to the Thunderbolt 3 computer by Thunderbolt 3 cable, and
after
both the Thunderbolt 3 computer and EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure are powered on, the LED6 0V9_USB will light.
For LED6 0V9_USB, originally it was designed for two Thunderbolt 3 ports card: when the second TB3 port is connected with a USB device,
LED6 0V9_USB will show light to indicate a USB device has been connected to the second TB3 port on card. However, for single TB3 port card
within EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure, because the firmware has been created to let TB card have only one TB3 port function, the LED6 0V9_USB will
always show light
after
both the Thunderbolt 3 computer and EB3T-V3-eGPU enclosure are powered ON.
Fully Operational mode
Five green LEDs (LED1 through LED5) are illuminated when the Thunderbolt™ 3 Interface card is operational and it indicates that the
Thunderbolt3 unit is ON.
Standby mode
LED2 is illuminated; it indicates the EB3T-V3-eGPU expansion unit is on standby-mode, waiting to be powered up. See pictures below.
