Q: Do I need install software / driver for the EB3T-V3-eGPU on Windows 10 PC?

The EB3T-V3-eGPU requires no software / driver. However, you need to install the Thunderbolt Software for the laptop to communicate with
the EB3T-V3-eGPU expansion unit. Thunderbolt Software installation for Windows 10 PC is one of the requirements in order for the EB3T-V3-
eGPU to work properly. Below are the Windows 10 OS requirements when using Thunderbolt 3 device.

Requires the latest “Thunderbolt Software”. This is provided by the laptop vendor.

Enable Thunderbolt in BIOS
c.
Enable Security Level and set to “User Authorization”
d.
Install latest Thunderbolt 3 Firmware: Check with the laptop vendor for updated thunderbolt firmware
e.
Thunderbolt 3 port capable and Thunderbolt 3 40Gbs cable.
Q: Do I need install software / driver for the EB3T-V3-eGPU on Mac OS?
A:
NO. Make sure the Thunderbolt 3 equipped mac computer is running 10.13.x or higher. However, you need to install the software / driver
for the GPU card.
Q: What GPU brand can I use with the EB3T-V3-eGPU on Mac platform?
A:
On Mac platform, only the AMD GPU cards are supported. NVIDIA GPU cards are not yet supported on 10.13.X Mac OS.

You need t power UP the computer first then plug in the EB3T-V3-eGPU to the computer Thunderbolt3 port.

Shutdown the computer

Disconnect the Thunderbolt cable from the computer
3.
Turn ON the computer.
4.
Reconnect or plug in the EB3T-V3-Egpu to your computer
5.
The computer Operating System will detect the eGPU automatically
