USAGE
Icelock 544 series components that are equipped with a release button
(I/K/L) require the patient to press the release button when doffing the
prosthesis in case of an internal seal, like Iceross Seal-In products.
Note:
Pressing the release button upon donning will also facilitate faster
and more complete engagement and is strongly recommended when
using Iceross Seal-In liners. Capability to follow this process is essential.
CLEANING
Disassembly and cleaning
1. Unscrew the plate (I/J/K/L) and expulsion housing (E) / E2 connector
(F) and remove seal (B) / duckbill valve (C) / mesh filter (D).
2. Clean under running water with mild detergent and clear airways with
an air hose. Hold down the release button while clearing airway.
Reassembly
1. Place seal (B) / duckbill valve (C) / mesh filter (D) and then screw in
the expulsion housing (E) / E2 connector (F)

Note:
When inserting the housing, make sure that the seal/valve/mesh
is not crooked, otherwise the housing may not hold vacuum properly.
2. Place large seal (G) / O-ring (H) below housing. Complete assembly
with the plate (I/J/K/L), applying medium strength thread locker to
4-hole screws and torque twice to 10 Nm
(Fig. 16)

Note:
Make sure threads are clean and provide full engagement of
screws without resistance. Use screws supplied with kit only.
3. [For L-544611, L-544612 and L-544613] Secure Unity tube to the
connector on the plate (J/K).
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The device can be used in temperatures between -15 °C (5 °F) to 50 °C
(122 °F).
The device is Weatherproof.
Caution:
A weatherproof device allows use in a wet and/or humid
environment but does not allow submersion. Fresh water splashing
against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect. The
device should be dried thoroughly after contact with fresh water. Fresh
water: Includes tap water. Excludes salt and chlorinated water.
Note:
For a weatherproof system, weatherproof components must be
selected for use with the device.
Warning:
Do not submerge a weatherproof product in water. This can
cause corrosion. A corroded product can break.
Caution:
Rinse the product with fresh water and then dry thoroughly after
use in wet and/or humid environment.
REPORT A SERIOUS INCIDENT
Any serious incident in relation to the device must be reported to the
manufacturer and relevant authorities.
DISPOSAL
All components of the product and packaging should be disposed of in
accordance with respective national environmental regulations.
