Items 8 and 9 are used when the socket is fabricated.
Use with L-680000 Fabrication Tooling (reusable).
Tools required
• 8mm (5/16) socket wrench.
INSTALLATION
• Place Bottom Attachment
(3) into bottom of socket with hole for
Lanyard Cord
(1) in correct position.
• Shorten Elbow
(4) to required length and insert it into hole.
• Screw Funnel
(2) into threads above Bottom Attachment (3) and
torque to 8Nm (6ft.lb) using Cross Driver
(10) (comes with
Fabrication Tooling) and 8mm torque wrench.
• Find correct positioning for Cleat
(6), drill two 3mm (1/8”) holes, and
rivet Cleat
(6) to socket.
• Trim Cord Cover
(5) to desired length. Bond it into Elbow (4) and to
hard socket in alignment with “tunnel” in Cleat
(6).
• Thread Lanyard Cord
(1) all the way through Bottom Attachment (3),
Elbow (4) and Cord Cover
(5).
• Screw connecting screw on Lanyard Cord
(1) into distal end of
Locking Liner, don socket and secure Cord in Cleat
(6).
Important: Tie knot (11) in Lanyard Cord (1) to stop it from inadvertently
being pulled into channel.
Note: Pull Handle (7) can be used for a more secure grip on Lanyard Cord
(1) when socket is donned.
1 year limited warranty.
It is recommended that Lanyard Cord
(1) be regularly checked for wear.
Rated up to high activity level (K3). Distal/weight bearing adapter
determines weight limit.
