• Do not use the appliance if it presents any kind of damage to the power cord, plug or other
components. Please contact the nearest Authorized Oster® Service Center to have the power
cord, plug or component replaced or repaired.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized
technician to avoid risks.
• Do not try to open, disassemble or repair the appliance. Any replacement of a damaged part
should only be performed by a technician at an Authorized Oster® Service Center.
• This appliance was not designed to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or those who lack of experience or knowledge, unless
they are under the supervision or instruction of someone responsible for their safety.
• Children should always be supervised if they are near the appliance while it is in operation.
• It is important to wear shoes and stand on a dry floor when using an electrical appliance.
• Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cord. Hold the plug firmly and then pull it
to disconnect it from the outlet.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children, especially when you are using it or when it
is still hot, to avoid burns.
• Do not use accessories other than the original ones for the appliance. The use of non-
original accessories may impair the performance of the appliance and cause damage to the
appliance or personal injuries.
• Do not store the appliance while it is hot, wait for it to cool down completely before putting
it away.
• Never carry the appliance by holding it by the power cord. Never let the power cord touch
hot surfaces. Always carefully hold the body of the unit when moving it.
• Allow air to circulate freely over and around the unit. Leave at least 10 cm of free space
around the appliance.
• Never block the appliance’s air vents while it is working, to avoid accidents.
• During operation, the unit can release extremely hot steam, be careful when handling the
unit and when opening and removing the basket.
• The appliance should not be used with an external timer or remote-control system.
• Do not use sponges or steel wool pads to clean the basket and the pan of the air fryer. The
unit can be damaged, including its electrical parts, which can lead to electrical shocks.
• Use appropriate protection or oven mitts when handling the hot basket.
• The air fryer must not be used for purposes other than those indicated in this manual.
• Make sure to unplug the unit when not in use, even if it is for a short period of time.
• When inserting the basket into the unit to be used, please ensure it is properly placed and
inserted and locked into placed.
• The maintenance and cleanliness of the appliance should not be carried out by children.
