Advanced DSP
Enable
The Amigo T20/T21 is equipped with Static Noise Avoidance (SNA). SNA
works across eight audio channels and helps to locate and reduce static noise
that might interfere with speech intelligibility. You can disable the SNA by ac-
cessing the Advanced DSP function in the programming menu.
To disable Advanced DSP:
– Position the cursor on “Disable”
– Press Sync
– Press the Arrow Left key to save your setting
– Press C (clear) to exit without saving changes
Advanced DSP-Static Noise Avoidance
We strongly recommend disabling this feature prior to performing FM
verifi cation in test boxes.
The maximum gain reduction from the SNA will not exceed 4 dB and
will never be applied until the sound level exceeds 65 dB SPL.
