Controlling the LED
The LED on the Amigo receiver can be controlled. The LED can also be set to
blink rather than glow steadily. The default setting is steady ON.
To change the default settings:
– Use the
buttons to navigate and select your setting
– Press Sync
– Press to save and exit
– Press C (clear) to exit without saving changes
When using the R1 or R2 for children, do remember that the LED indi-
cates that the battery is functioning and that the receiver is ON and
working together with the transmitter.
The power consumption is no more than 2.0 mA versus 1.6 mA when
blinking and 170 µA when OFF. The levels are insignifi cant, compared
to the overall power consumption of the hearing aid with receiver.
