Using the Amigo T20/T21 with Amigo receivers
Using the Amigo T20/T21 with Amigo receivers in a class-
room.
Practical use
Connect the Amigo receivers to the FM adaptors and turn
the receivers to FM+HA setting (unless the switch is dis-
abled).
Connect the FM adaptors and receivers to the hearing aids
(or CIs) and make sure the instruments are on and the bat-
teries are working.
If not done automatically, be sure to set the hearing aid/CI
to FM program and adjust volume if necessary.
Make sure the transmitter’s battery is fully charged
(if necessary, use standard Alkaline batteries).
Attach the transmitter’s external microphone, which has a
built-in antenna.
Turn the transmitter on. Synchronize the receivers from
within a distance of max. 40 cm.
Check that the receiver acknowledge the Sync command
by blinking 3 times.
Check that both receiver LEDs are on.
Attach the microphone to your clothing and place it within
15-20 cm of your mouth; then place the transmitter some-
where convenient.
Note: Do not wrap the microphone cable around the trans-
mitter when Team Teaching.
