Error message
Cause
Solution
Access is blocked for 24 hours.
This user account is blocked
because of too many unsuc-
cessful log-in attempts.
• A wrong password has been
entered 3 times. The device is
locked for the user for 24 hours.
• The administrator can unlock the
device via the AccuLink software.
The maximum number of
patients is reached. Cannot
generate new patient.
• There is no memory space avail-
able for adding more patients or
tests.
• Delete patients and tests.
Wrong probe for test
• The TEOAE probe is connected
for DPOAE testing or the Ear
Coupler cable is connected for
OAE testing.
• Connect the appropriate probe.
Probe FAILED
• The probe did not pass the test.
There may be several causes:
– the probe tip is blocked
– the test cavity is blocked
– the probe is damaged
• Make sure that the probe tip is
clean and that the channels are
not blocked.
• Make sure that the test cavity is
not blocked by e.g., dust, lint or
such.
• Replace the probe with a spare
one and carry out the probe test
to establish if the probe is dam-
aged.
Speaker mismatch
• Too great a difference between
speaker levels was detected.
• Clean the probe tip or replace
with a spare and redo the test.
Too much noise
• Baby or testing environment is
too noisy.
• Reduce noise (parents' talk,
mobile phones, baby crying, etc.).
Stimulus high
• The probe has a poor fit in the ear
canal.
• The probe is not in the ear canal.
• Try to refit the probe.
Stimulus low
• The probe has a poor fit in the ear
canal.
• The probe tip is blocked.
• Try to refit the probe. If the prob-
lem persists, clean the probe tip or
replace it with a spare.
Timeout during pause
• The ABR test was paused for
more than 2 minutes.
• Retest the patient.
