Lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of less
than 100Wh are authorized in the cabin (see
IATA 57th edition, 1 January 2016).
ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
1)
If the instructions given in this manual are
not followed, the battery life will be reduced
and the battery life will be reduced.
2)
If the battery overheats, or leaks, or de-
forms or emits an odor or smoke, stop using
the battery immediately. Place it in an open
space, if possible away from the crowds. Use
personal protective equipment.
3)
Do not use your OTONOHM battery for
other applications other than those listed in
this manual.
4)
Use only a specific OTONOHM charger to
charge your battery (charger, car charger,
some of our foldable solar panels). The use
of another charger (not OTONOHM certi-
fied) is strictly forbidden, as this may cause
damage to your OTONOHM battery. Only
use accessories approved by OTONOHM.
5)
Do not place your battery in an environ-
ment exposed to the sun.
Position your OTONOHM products systema-
tically in shaded places, protected from heat
and direct sun exposures.
6)
Do not place the battery in an explosive
atmosphere: do not burn, do not throw in
the fire, do not expose it to the sun or any
other source of heat, do not place on any
heating surface (radiator, stove ...), or any
other object producing a heat source (in
particular a microwave, ...) or a naked flame
such as a lighted candle.
7)
Do not place the battery in a damp envi-
ronment, or exposed to rain or splash water.
Never immerse the battery in water. Keep
away from other sources of moisture.
8)
Perform a charging operation every 2
months to avoid damage caused by the
inactive discharge.
