laMP aSSeMBlY
1.
Unpack fully assembled lamp and single-packaged bulb.
2.
Lay out lamp with the base

lying flat on a steady surface.
3.
Install Bulb

4.
Plug the lamp into a standard 120V outlet.
5.
To turn the lamp
On
or
OFF
rotate cord mounted switch

clockwise.
6.
To position the shade

up or down loosen thumbscrew

turning counterclockwise, reposition shade

tighten thumbscrew

turning clockwise by hand until
tight; to facilitate movement, grasp the shade at the top

and gently move it.

To adjust the position of lamp body move upper arm

try to rotate the shade sideways as the lamp may
be damaged.
BulB inSertiOn anD reMOVal
1.
Make sure that the lamp is not plugged into an electrical
socket.
2.
If the lamp has been in use, allow it to cool approximately 5
minutes before proceeding.
3.
To install a bulb
(g)
in the socket, hold bulb
(g)
firmly near
the base, align bulb pins with mating pin-holes in socket
then push it straight into the socket until it “snaps” into
place.
4.
To remove a bulb
(g)
already installed in the lamp, grasp it
firmly at the base and using a slight rocking motion, pull it
straight out of the socket.
DO nOt
twist or turn the glass
part of the bulb.
DO nOt
allow bulb to strike the shade.
Please note that in operation, OttLite bulbs are not
dimmable.
