1.1 Preface
The modular headrest assembly you have selected is a high-quality product
from our company. We are providing you with this handbook so that you will be
able to enjoy this product for a long time and so that it will help make daily life
easier for you. It will show you how to set and operate the assembly correctly
and easily, while also demonstrating the required care and maintenance.
Please read carefully the following tips and instructions to get the most out
of the assembly and to avoid any damage that might be caused by using it
incorrectly. If you have any questions or problems, please contact your sup-
plier. We hope that you will have no problems using our product and that it
meets your expectations. The model as described in these instructions for use
is subject to technical changes without notice.
1.2 Intended use
The 476L52=SK00/5/20/25/30/35 Assemblies are solely intended for as-
sembling headrests on wheelchairs or seating systems. The assemblies are
only to be used as systems and to be replaced with original spare parts from
the manufacturer.
1.3 Liability
The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the product has been used under the
conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recommends that
the product be used and maintained according to the instructions for use.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by components and
spare parts not approved by the manufacturer. Repairs must be carried out
exclusively by authorized dealers or by the manufacturer.
1.4 CE conformity
Otto Bock as manufacturer with sole responsibility declares that the 476L
52=SK00/5/20/25/30/35 Assemblies conform to the requirements of the
93/42/EEC Guidelines.
1.5 Service and repairs
Service and repairs may only be carried out by an authorized Otto Bock dealer.
Perform an optical check of the assembly on a regular basis before using it;
this should include screw connections, signs of wear and other externally visible
damage. If any problems arise, please contact your specialized dealer. In the
event of repairs you will only receive original Otto Bock spare parts there.
