Lock the brake every time before parking the power
wheelchair.
WARNING
Improper maintenance, repair, or adjustment work on
the brake
Falling, tipping, collision with persons or nearby objects

Repairs and adjustments to the brake may only be
made by qualified personnel trained by the manufac
turer. Incorrect settings can lead to a loss of braking
power.
It is possible to push the power wheelchair in case of con
trol unit failure or insufficient battery capacity. To do so, it is
necessary to release the brake using the release mechanism
described below.
The brake release lever is located on the right and left under
the seat, above the motors (see Fig. 13, item 1).
Releasing/deactivating the brake

Push the red brake release lever out (see Fig. 14, item
1).

The brake is released, all braking systems are turned
off.

The control unit recognises that the brake has been
released and deactivates the driving function.

A warning will appear on the "Battery Capacity" LED
display as soon as the joystick is deflected:

Engaging/activating the brake
1) Push the red brake release lever in (see Fig. 14, item 2).
2) Turn the control unit off and on again.
