16 Maintenance, cleaning and care

Your HUBFIX bath lift has the CE seal of approval. This indicates that the manufacturer has determined that this

complete medical product meets the requirements of the EU 93/42/EWG standard.

The correct function of the bath lift should be checked before every use.

If you discover any problems, please contact your Otto Bock approved dealer to have them fixed. We also

recommend that you have the device serviced every twelve months by your Otto Bock approved dealer.

After every bath, use clean water and a shower attachment to wash down the HUBFIX bath lift and remove any

traces of soap or other body-care substances.

Regularly clean all parts of the frame and plastic components with regular mild household cleaner.

The suction cups and rubber feet must be clean and free of grease or soap to insure the best grip with the

bottom of the tub.

If they are worn (and offer insufficient grip) please change them immediately.
