Please read the Owner's Manual first.
Make sure you are familiar with the device and how to operate it before you first place it in a bathtub.
The HUBFIX bath lift must never be operated by the person on the platform.
The HUBFIX bath lift must be used indoors and only in a bathtub.
When raising or lowering it, do not touch any part of the device that you have not been directed to in
these instructions. It is particularly important that you avoid the folding mechanism. Keep an eye on
the person in the bathing seat!
Never exceed the HUBFIX bath lift's maximum load of 30 kilograms.
The maximum user weight is the difference between the maximum load and the bathing seat's
weight.
Depending on the position of the faucets there may be splashing when filling the tub. The tub may
be liable to overflow when the bath lift is in its highest lifting position as the wings are resting on
the edge of the tub. For this reason we recommend that you fill the tub with a hand-held shower
attachment.
The suction cups and rubber feet must be clean and free of grease or soap to insure the best grip
with the bottom of the tub.
If they are worn out and offer insufficient grip, please change them immediately.
Never open the oil-filled release system or the hydraulic spring. If there is any loss of pressure or
leaking oil please inform your approved dealer.
After you have finished setting up the device make sure that all fastenings are fastened securely.
