ANCHORING YOUR SAN JUAN

FIREPLACE (OPTIONAL)

In most cases this step is not necessary. If
your San Juan Fireplace is exposed to regular
or periodic high winds (35-40MPH) you
should consider anchoring the unit. Hardware
is not provided for this step.

Drill into a footing a minimum of 3”. Anchor
with 1/2” anchor bolts. On the track side an
oversize washer 1-1/2” to 2”should be used so
it doesn’t pull through when tightened.
