of 10-7/8 inches above and on both sides of
the exterior face of the appliance. This non-
combustible

nishing material can be up to a
maximum of 6 inches thick (6 inches maximum
horizontal overhang) to allow for brick and stone
alcoves. See Figure 8.5.
