Use
Filling the gas
Make sure that the valve is fully closed
(turn the regulator button clockwise until
it is closed). Carefully screw the container/
canister up onto the thread on the gas
burner. Check for any leak or seepage (see
section on leakage).
Ignition
Turn the regulator button anticlockwise
to turn on the gas. Turn it gently only, not
forcefully. Press the piezo ignition until the
gas ignites. Now adjust the ame as required.
Turning off the gas burner
Turn the regulator button clockwise to turn
off the gas. There may be gas in the gas pipe
after the valve has closed, so the gas burner
will not always turn off immediately.
Removing the gas container/canister
Make sure that the valve is closed completely
(turn the regulator button clockwise until it
is closed). Carefully unscrew the container/
canister off the gas burner.
When the gas burner is lit
Pay close attention to any ignition sources,
especially during dry weather/dry periods of
the year.
If the gas supply is insuffi cient, the gas
container may be empty.
Leak test
Splash a little soapy water on the cold gas
burner. If bubbles can be seen in the area
where you splashed water, the container is
leaking or incorrectly tted.
Check whether the gas container is screwed
on properly, or whether it is missing a seal.
