Connectors
The XiLOG Data Logger has various connector options, cables and sensors that may be ordered. Sensors or cables supplied
by Ovarro are factory-fitted with the appropriate connector.
XiLOG Data Logger Connectors
3.1
Quick Release Connector (Internal Pressure Transducer)
A male quick-release connector is fitted to loggers fitted
with the internal pressure transducer option. This enables
pressure measurements to be logged.
The integral pressure transducer range is 0-20 Bar.
Caution: Damage may occur if the transducer is subjected
to pressures of more than 150% of its range. The
zero point calibration of the transducer may
change if the logger is subjected to shocks, but
this offset can be compensated by recalibrating
the logger.
Quick-Release Connector
A hose option with male and female connectors is available to connect the logger to a pressure monitoring point.
Caution: Care must be taken to avoid pressure shock when connecting to the transducer, as this can damage or
destroy the sensing diaphragm.
Configuration of the connector is detailed in
Section 5.9 Configure Channels - Internal Pressure Screen.
