XiLOG GO
5.1
About XiLOG GO
XiLOG GO is an app for configuring the XiLOG4G/IOT data logger remotely. Bluetooth communications is used to ensure
reliable and secure communication with your data logger.
5.2
Compatibility
The XiLOG GO app runs on Android and iOS devices. The appearance of screen displays is similar on either platform.
However, on a few very small screen devices text maybe truncated.
5.3
Setting Up Communications
The XiLOG GO app is used to configure data transmission from the data logger to Primeweb. A SIM card must be installed in
the data logger to enable data transmission to Primeweb. SIM cards may be fitted at the factory by Ovarro or customers
may choose to fit one themselves. See
Section 4.2 Installing the SIM Card
for details of how to install a SIM card.
5.4
Starting the XiLOG GO Mobile App
To start the XiLOG GO app:
1.
Ensure the XiLOG GO app is installed on the mobile
device to be used for configuring the data logger. The
app may be downloaded and installed from the Play
Store (Andriod) or the Apple Store (iOS).
2.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the mobile device.
3.
Click on the XiLOG GO app icon (shown right) to open it.
4.
Select the logger you wish to connect to from the list of
serial numbers.
5.
The initial screen will be displayed.
