Configure Channels - Digital Screen
The
Digital
screen enables configuration and calibration of
the digital flow channels and configuration of upper and
lower alarm thresholds. Click the tick (
) to commit
configuration changes to the logger.
Channel 1 or 2
Enable
– If selected, enables the channel to be
configured and measured.
Name
– Defines name of the channel that will be
displayed in Primeweb.
Display Units
– Defines the units of the flow channel.
Calibration Units
– Specifies the units the measured
flow channel is calibrated in (e.g. Litres).
Calibration
– Defines the volume represented by each
pulse from the flow sensor.
Meter Reading Units
– Defines the units the measured
flow channel meter reading (e.g. Litres), if a flow meter
(or totaliser) is required rather than a flow rate.
Meter Reading
– Defines the starting figure for the
meter reading.
Alarm Settings
Alarms can be configured for the flow channel. If an alarm
condition is detected, the logger will send an alert to
Primeweb immediately.
Upper Alarm Enable
– If selected, an alarm will be
triggered if the flow value goes above that specified by
the
Upper Alarm Threshold
.
Upper Alarm Threshold
– Defines the flow value (litres
per second) above which the alarm will be triggered.
Lower Alarm Enable
– If selected, an alarm will be
triggered if the flow value goes below that specified by
the
Lower Alarm Threshold
.
Lower Alarm Threshold
– Defines the flow value (litres
per second) below which the alarm will be triggered.
Debounce Delay
– Specifies the delay to prevent
multiple alarms being triggered by a single event. A new
alarm will not be triggered until the delay time has run
out after the first alarm is triggered.
Deadband Size
– Defines the amount the flow value
must return to before an alarm will cleared.
