Software Components
The XiLOG data logging system comprises three main components: the data logger (installed at site), the remote
configuration software (XiLOG GO) and the remote data viewing/analysing platform (Primeweb).
Software Components
2.1.1
XiLOG GO
The logger is configured using XiLOG GO, an Android/iOS app that runs on a mobile phone or tablet and communicates to
the logger using in-built Bluetooth communications. The app provides menus and screens for configuring the logging of
sensor inputs, alarm levels and the transmission of status/measurement data and set up of the cellular modem.
The XiLOG GO app enables configuration/indication of:
Logger identification
Site name/location
Battery level
Firmware updates
Primeweb certificate updates
Pressure readings (name/units/logging interval/ ambient
zero) + alarms (upper/lower/debounce/deadband)
Millivolt (name/units/logging interval) + sensor
(units/max/mV at max)
Voltage (name/units/logging interval) +sensor
(units/max/voltage range)
Current (name/units/logging interval) +sensor
(units/max/min/mA at max/mA at min)
Digital (name/units/calibration units/calibration/meter
reading units/meter reading) + alarm (upper
threshold/lower threshold/debounce/deadband)
Transmit (enable/commissioning delay/transmit
frequency/time) +SIM (APN/user name/password)
