When using coffee grinder, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following

Do not remove the blade until the blade has stopped completely. After
releasing the PULSE button, the blade will come to a stop after 2-3 seconds.
Make sure the appliance is off, the motor has stopped completely and the appliance is
unplugged from outlet before putting on or taking off attachments, and before cleaning.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
To reduce the risk of injury, do not drape cord over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
