4.2 Design of installation system
The couplings 136 16 22 cannot be mounted subse-
quently. Please observe the following installation order:
1. Mount first collector housing
2. Fit coupling in the compression connection
3. Mount second collector housing.
The pans for roof conduit are not included in the Oven-
trop product range.
4.1 Installation temperature sensor / collector con-
nections
The temperature sensor is installed in the hot supply and
is located on the left collector side .
Remove blind plug (M 12 x 1.5) from the left cover plug
and replace by screwed cable gland (M 12 x 1.5). Insert
temperature sensor through the screwed cable gland
into the immersion pocket (copper pipe) until stop (about
250 mm).

Illustr. 29: Hold firm collector connections
The collector connections (supply and return) must
be held firm when tightening the compression connec-
tion. Tightening torque
쏜
40 Nm. Check compression
connections for leaks after filling the system. The OKP
collectors should, however, be submitted to a functional
test once a yer. The silver colouring of the lower part of
the glass bulb displays that the tube is faultless.
