Attach the included zipper strip to the hardtop bolt holes
on the top edge of the tub. If the Jeep does not have a
hardtop but does have the factory captive nuts for the
hardtop under the tub rail, use 8mm x 1.25 x 20mm long
screws (not supplied) to attach the zipper strips. If the
Jeep does not have the factory captive nuts, 3/4"-long
5/16 screws and nuts or 20mm-long 8mm screws and nuts
(not supplied) can be used to attach the zipper strips.

If the Jeep is equipped with a soft top: Refer to
the owner’s manual section on Door Frame
Removal. Remove the frames, lay the zipper
strip on the top of the body and replace the
door frame, inserting the door frame pin
through the second hole in the front of the
zipper strip. Once the door frame is replaced,
the rear hole in the zipper strip is secured in the
hole which is used to secure the hardtop.
Like your favorite pair of jeans, perfectly fitted fabric
products may be a bit tight when they’re new and like
your jeans after a little use they’ll stretch to that
perfectly comfy fit you love so much. The initial fit of
Saddlebag zipper strip is designed to be very tight for the
same reason. When installing the strip to the Jeep tub,
pull it tight to stretch it so the grommets line up with the
holes in the tub/hardtop. This is normal and will ensure a
good fit over time.
